Our most obvious advantage, a wealth of computer technology, proved
also to be our greatest obstacle to overcome. We spent the majority of our
time entering massive amounts of data (numerous times) only to have the
computer freeze, crash, not read our disks, or not save documents properly.
Then, when it came time to graph, the problems escalated. One program had
excellent graphics, but was not science oriented. So we moved on to a more
complex program, only to have it refuse to read our previous information.
Then we encountered further frustrations with details such as error bars,
logs, and axies. Although it hindered us slightly, our hours of wrestling
with the computer lead us to a much greater understanding of the technology
at our fingertips.
