Maine -- The Way Life Should Be

[Photo] That's me and that's Maine: Acadia actually. If you ever get the chance, go to Maine and spend a few days hiking in Acadia. Whether it's the seals or the whales, the eagles or the falcons, the sea birds or the surf, or just the trails, you will be amazed by this place.

The Hesper and the Luther Little, lying together in the mud, is perhaps the most photographed scene on the Maine coast. Today they lie rotting by Route 1 in Wiscasset, Maine. This is my attempt to photograph this classic.

Maine is a terrific place to visit and even a better place to live. For many it is the home they left to build careers and families and the home they hope to return to someday.
